Facebooking?

I suppose I’ll join the masses and create one of those Facebook thingies, instead of being the semi-Luddite IT tech that I am.
So… if you want to see that face behind the blog, in booked-form (or whatever you want to describe it as, since there’s really no bookishness to that site, nor will I call the random people who email me “friends” by default)… Go here: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000920997704
Enjoy!
(PS: I may get around to answering friend requests once I get used to the site a bit more. it’s kinda confusing and strange at first, so forgive any ignored messages you may try to send me)
I only recently joined Facebook – and only because my son asked me to.
I’ve limited my friends to under 30, and I really can’t keep track of all of those!
I’m more than a semi-Luddite IT programmer, I’m practically a full blown one. And I don’t care for FB at all. The cropped sound-byte type of communication it offers is sterile, and more than a little puerile.
Seems some people enjoy that, though.

It’s an unfortunate fact of FB that those of us there become too comfortable with “blurbs” of commentary and soon lose our ability to carry on with reasonable discussion. However, when one is unable to blog with any great consistency because of lack of subject matter, FB is a reasonable way to keep in contact.
I’ll catch you on there.
… Or not as it seems you’re not accepting new friends. lol
well, I didn’t realize I was not accepting friends. let me go onto the site and see what I set “wrong” to be too private like that…
Darn facebook…
Sorry Pom! I’ll see about fixing that now.
